Gentle Hypnobirth

I am a Registered Nurse, Midwife, Hypnotherapist and Hypnobirthing Teacher with 30+ years’ experience within the NHS as a Midwife and Public Health Nurse.

I encountered the Katherine Graves hypnobirthing method in my own practice and was truly amazed at how hypnobirthing allowed mothers, their partners and babies to enjoy the experience of pregnancy and child birth without fear and anxiety.  

I qualified as a hypnobirthing teacher with Katharine Graves, a renowned hypnobirthing instructor, and now hold the Hypnobirthing Diploma accredited by the Royal College of Midwives. Together, with my membership of the Hypnobirthing Association and experience as a qualified Midwife, I will assure that my delivery of the course is based on experience and fact. I convey confidence and competence to allow you to discover the wonders of a peaceful natural birth.  

Hypnobirthing explains how the mind and body function to achieve a focused and comfortable birth. This course inspired me and I wish that I had known about Hypnobirthing during my own pregnancy.

Other areas of my work expands to local authority schools, health servies and small organisations in providing health training, advice and mentorship in providing health related services to children and families.
